Celestial is a 2-6 player abstract game. Each player controls rockets that they try and manoeuvre from their own solar system into an opponents solar system on the opposite side of the board for points. Rockets can extend their moves by interacting with other rockets to make connected moves. More connections in a single move that culminate in an opponents solar system grant more points.

There is jeopardy with the placement of mines and Celestials and the creation of voids. Mines and voids can destroy rockets whereas Celestials have an orbit which can distribute rockets, mines and voids thereby continually changing the face of the board.

The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game. Games can last typically from 45 to 90 minutes. There are rules so players of higher ability can always have contested games with new and intermediate players.

Celestial is a cosmic game of skill and strategy suitable for ages 14 and up.
