A rocket can move in one of six directions up to a maximum of six hexagons
Illustration of a deflector beam move. A deflected piece is moved in one of three directions for 7 hexagons. These are the three directions “opposite” to the direction in which the instigating piece entered the original hexagon.
A Celestial can slingshot any object that comes within its orbit (shaded purple), for seven hexagons in a straight line from any of its surrounding hexagons as illustrated. The slingshot piece must move the full seven hexagons and follow all consequences. There are 18 possible directions that a slingshot piece can move. Hexagon one of the seven hexagon move is counted as the first hexagon outside of the orbit.
A void is a collection of seven void tokens. A distributed void token on its own is known as a Rift.
Orange rocket replaces blue rocket
Blue rocket deflected and replaces green rocket
Green is deflected and replaces orange rocket
Orange rocket is deflected into orbit of Celestial; moves freely around Celestial and then is slingshot into the target solar zone
Orange gains 11 points for entering the solar zone due three deflections and a Celestial slingshot. (3×3)+2.
Note that both own and opponent pieces can be deflected
